The Hunt is an app-guided scavenger hunt platform for playing, customizing, and creating real-world experiences. You can jump into a professionally produced Hunt, customize a published Hunt with your own locations, or create something completely your own for friends, teams, events, trainings, campuses, fundraisers, and bar crawls.
You can play a sponsored Hunt, customize the locations in a published Hunt, or use Creator Mode to build your own. Depending on the Hunt, players may follow clues, scan QR checkpoints, answer questions, unlock exclusive offers, follow directions, play as a team, or move through a custom route created for a specific group or event.
Yes. Creator Mode is built directly into The Hunt app. You can start with templates and tutorials, add your own locations, clues, instructions, QR checkpoints, images, audio, questions, and decision points, then publish privately and share a join code with your group. Your custom Hunt can stay private and only be seen by the people you invite.
The Hunt is launching everywhere, and active sponsor locations will grow over time. You can still customize a published Hunt with your own locations or create a custom Hunt for your group, event, training, campus, fundraiser, or crawl. That flexibility means The Hunt can work even while new sponsor locations are still coming online in your area.
A Hunt Sponsor is a participating local business that can become part of the Hunt experience. Players visit the location, scan a QR checkpoint, and unlock the sponsor’s welcome message and offer instructions. For businesses, it creates a new way to bring engaged customers through the door and track verified player visits.
Yes. Restaurants, cafés, bars, boutiques, bookstores, entertainment venues, attractions, escape rooms, bowling alleys, and other local businesses can become Official Hunt Sponsor Locations. Sponsors can set participation hours, create offers, post their QR checkpoint, and track verified visits from their Sponsor Dashboard.
Yes. Most Creator Hunts are private, but creators can submit polished Hunts for possible publication in The Hunt app. We are interested in working with writers, puzzle creators, escape room designers, influencers, educators, tourism creators, brands, storytellers, and IP owners who want to create great content for The Hunt audience. Public publication is reviewed by The Hunt team and is not automatic.
Yes. Local partners, Territory Managers, campus advocates, agency partners, community connectors, and event-minded operators can help grow The Hunt in their market. Partners may help sign up Hunt Sponsors, create player engagement, support launch activity, and build local momentum. Qualified partners may have earning opportunities based on their role, market, and results.
